Real repairs
Repaired to blend in, not to stand out
We repair denim as discreetly as the fabric allows. We patch from behind and darn over the top by machine, with thread matched to the wash and the wear around it.

Before you book
How much does it cost to repair a ripped crotch?
Crotch reinforcement is $115 for one pair. We add a patch inside and darn over the worn area without opening the seams. If the crotch is fully blown out and the denim is 100% cotton, a full rebuild is $200.
Can I mail my jeans to you?
Yes, from anywhere in the US. Book online, and we email a prepaid shipping label. Shipping is $20 each way.
How long does it take?
Most mail-in orders are back in 2 to 3 weeks from the day they reach the studio. In the studio, most work is ready in about 2 weeks.
Will the repair show?
We make it as discreet as the denim allows, with thread matched to the wash. A repair is rarely completely invisible, but on most denim you have to look for it.
Do you repair stretch denim?
Yes, for tears and crotch reinforcement. A full hole is a different story: the repaired area won't stretch anymore, so we don't recommend it on stretch denim. A full crotch rebuild is for 100% cotton denim only.
Do you repair raw and selvedge denim?
Yes, all the time, and at the same prices as any other denim. We match the thread to the fade and keep the repair as quiet as the fabric allows.
Do you repair workwear?
Yes. Canvas and duck work pants, chore coats and work jackets get the same repairs as denim: knees, cuffs, pockets and seams. Waxed canvas is priced higher, because it needs special handling and we clean the machines afterwards. Lined jackets and coats are priced higher too, since we open the lining to make the repair and close it again afterwards.
Can you hem jeans and keep the original hem?
Yes. The original hem comes off, the length comes up, and the hem goes back on, so the worn-in edge stays. We don't recommend it on stretch denim, but we'll do it if you'd like it.
